A weak storm moved through the North State today, bringing a mix of sun and clouds, cooler temperatures, and a few showers in the mountains... mainly the Siskiyous. Many areas in the Valley saw sprinkles, but that was it.
The storm is moving east, and high pressure will be back by Friday... and so will the heat. Aided by a light north wind, look for Valley highs to be in the middle 90's tomorrow through the weekend.
High pressure will break down next week as another storm moves in Wednesday and Thursday. This one looks just a little bit stronger, so perhaps we'll see some measurable rain in the Valley then... and definitely look for another nice cooldown.
Fall starts Monday... the autumnal equinox is at 7:29 pm PDT.
