It was a beautiful summer day around the North State on Wednesday, with temperatures well below average. High pressure weakend in response to an upper level low in southern California, and also kicked up a nice delta breeze... all of which should continue through the rest of the week! High pressure will slowly build back by next week, warming our temperatures back up to near average for this time of year then. But through this upcoming weekend, it's looking pretty nice!
Mountain thunderstorm activity took a break today, and that should continue through the weekend... no surges of monsoonal moisture are in sight.
Nice August weather ahead!
