Chilly temperatures have settled into the region overnight, and there is a Frost Advisory in place for the mid valley until 9am. Temperatures have dropped into the mid 30's to mid 40's in the valley this morning. Mountain areas have dropped into the mid teens to mid 30's overnight, and foothill locations have bottomed out in the mid to high 30's this morning. Warmer weather is expected for this afternoon, with temperatures in the valley climbing into the mid 60's to low 70's, foothill areas ending up in the low to mid 60's, and mid 50's to low 60's ahead for the mountains.
Wind will not be as strong for your Tuesday, with the strongest gusts projected to be up to 20mph out of the North in the northern end of the valley. The rest of the region will have winds out of the North from 10 to 15mph. The warm trend, and sunny skies will continue into your Thursday forecast. Cooler temperatures, cloudy skies, and the potential for scattered showers will arrive in the region on Friday. The chance for precipitation will continue into Saturday, but will not last into Sunday. There will be the potential for another wet system arriving in the early to midweek period of next week.
I hope everyone stays warm in the chilly conditions this morning, and has a great Tuesday!
