Another seasonably hot day around the North State on Friday, and we'll see more of that this weekend. A weak disturbance will move to near the coast by Monday, which will break high pressure down just a bit and kick up a bit of a delta breeze as well, leading to slightly cooler weather next week.
No mountain thunderstorms this weekend, but a few could develop in the Siskiyous and Trinity Alps next week... but shouldn't be too much. There's just not enough moisture available for that, and no tap into monsoon moisture from the Desert Southwest.
Overall, pretty typical August weather continues, with no triple digits in sight.
