An elderly Tehama County woman was allegedly robbed and threatened with a knife at her home on Saturday morning.
Tehama County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported robbery at home on Johnson Road in Red Bluff. Deputies found 92-year-old Myrtle Walker in her home. Walker reported being robbed by an unknown man who had forced his way into her home.
Walker said the man threatened her with a large hunting knife and demanded jewelry and money. She handed over $10 and the suspect left the residence with her phone.
Approximately two hours later deputies located Robert Michael Lonsberry, 39, of Red Bluff and arrested him for armed robbery, elder abuse, burglary, possession of stolen property and malicious removal of a phone.
Lonsberry was booked into the Tehama County Jail and is being held on $230,000 bail.
