Three people are in custody after a series of marijuana raids netted nearly 17,000 pounds of pot being grown illegally in Shasta County.
Officers from multiple state and local agencies conducted the raids, beginning Monday, near Snow Creek northwest of Shingletown.
Marijuana grows were also found in Oak Run, Mosquito Creek and near Lakehead off of Backbone Road.
Three people were arrested during the raids, all of whom were men from Mexico.
During the raids agents also found thousands of pounds of fertilizer, pesticides and trash.
