CHICAGO (AP) - Prosecutors have charged two men who they believe opened fire in a crowded Chicago park, injuring 13 people including a 3-year-old boy.

Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy says Tabari Young and Bryon Champ were charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery in Thursday night's shooting at Cornell Square Park on the southwest side.

McCarthy said Tuesday that two other men who were also involved in the attack face the same charges. They are Kewane (keh-WAHN'-ee) Gatewood and Brad Jett.

The shooting injured 3-year-old Deonta (dee-AHN'-tay) Howard, who was shot in the face. Deonta is recovering from surgery.

Authorities say they believe the shooting was gang-related, but don't think anyone in the park was a specific target.
