4 arrests made after shooting victim dropped at Marysville hospital

Four people who allegedly left a gunshot victim in front of Rideout Memorial Hospital have been arrested, the Yuba County Sheriff's Office confirmed Tuesday.

Anthony Rios, 18, of Olivehurst was pronounced dead at the hospital Friday night after sustaining a gunshot wound to his chest.

According to the sheriff's office, Rios, Eric Garcia-Vasquez, 20 of Yuba City; Justin Martinez, 18 of Marysville, and two juveniles were traveling in a white Ford Focus one of them pulled and fired a gun.

After the alleged shooting, Rios was dropped in front of the hospital and one of the suspects waived down an ambulance technician, who helped unload Rios from the car.

All four men are facing charges with gang enhancements because of their alleged involvement with the Norteno street gang. Vasquez is facing a murder charge while Martinez and the 16-year-olds are facing an accessory charge.
