An investigation in Red Bluff into a relationship between a 14-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man resulted in the arrest of four people.
According to the Red Bluff police department, a school resource officer started investigating suspicious circumstances between the teen boy from Gerber and 21-year-old Thomas Seagraves of Red Bluff.
Police said after a lengthy investigation, which included the review of over 26,000 text over the course of eight months, Red Bluff Police officers obtained eight search warrants from the Tehama County superior court.
On April 19, officials served search warrants in the city of Red Bluff, Tehama county and Butte County.
Officials said during the service of those search warrants, numerous items were seized as evidence and four men were arrested.
Seagraves was arrested on charges of procurement of a minor for sex acts, oral copulation with a minor and sodomy with a minor and is being held on $130,000 bond.
20-year-old Michael Flowerdew, 19-year-old Bryan Morrison, both of Red Bluff and 19-year-old Alexander Isaacson of Gridley were also arrested along with Seagraves. These suspects were booked on charges of contact with a minor for the intent of sex, oral copulation with a minor and sodomy with a minor and booked into the Tehama County jail.
Flowerdew is being held on $155,000 bond, Morrison on $210,000 bond and Isaacson on $115,000 bond.
