Paradise police have arrested three people they say were involved in the murder of a Paradise man who had been missing since the end of May.

Family members of 54-year-old Brian Clouser reported him missing on June 20, 2014 and a subsequent investigation led investigators to evidence that Clouser had been missing since May, and that he may have been the victim of a homicide.

During a search of Clouser's home, police found evidence that led them to a remote area of Butte County. It was there that investigators found the body of a man, later identified as Clouser, in a shallow grave in Concow on Wednesday July 23.

Evidence gathered during the course of the investigation led police to three suspects. On Thursday police arrested 40-year-old Charles Blalock for the murder of Clouser. Police have also arrested 28-year-old Nicole Hauser and 22-year-old Victor Marino for being accessories to murder.

Paradise police say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.

Action News Now reporter Cecile Juliette will have a full report on the case tonight at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
