3 men in custody following suspected gang shooting

Three Fresno men claiming to be part of the Norteno Street gang are in custody after an alleged gang shooting in downtown Red Bluff.

Red Bluff police responded to the 1100 Block of Main St. at 2:11 a.m. for a report of gunshots in the area.

When police arrived witnesses pointed them towards three suspects fleeing on foot.

Further investigation revealed that two groups of Hispanic men were in an argument just south of Napa Auto Parts. During the argument one of the men discharged six rounds from a handgun.

The incident did not result in any injuries, but several of the suspects involved are still at large. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Red Bluff Police Department at (530) 527-3131.
