3 killed in North Oakland shooting; suspect arrested

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Three men were killed in a shooting in North Oakland, and one person was arrested.

The Oakland Tribune reports that police were called around 3 p.m. Saturday to a house in the 900 block of 54th Street, where the men were found dead.

A 25-year-old man at the home surrendered after a standoff with police.

Homicide detectives are investigating. Police do not have a possible motive.

Oakland has had 36 homicides this year.
