Two men have been arrested in connection to a burglary at the Hatchet Mountain Windmill Project, a six-and-a-half mile line of wind turbines on the ridge above Burney, Shasta County Sheriff’s reported Thursday.
Investigators said approximately $70,000 worth of property was taken from the windmill farm, including a 2015 Dodge Ram.
Three men were arrested Mar. 2, 39-year-old Clinton Randall-Bell arrested after $15,000 worth of stolen items was found at his house.
Two more arrests were made, 29-year-old Brent Blue was taken into custody after fleeing on foot, and 36-year-old Abraham Womack was also arrested at Bell's house. At the time of his arrest, the stolen dodge ram was also recovered with fake license plates.
All the suspects were booked into the Shasta County Jail for charges related to the burglary.
