Three suspects have been arrested for their alleged roles in a knife fight between rival gangs outside the Chico Mall last week.

An investigation by Chico police into the January 19 fight has led to the arrest of Rodolfo Martinez, 21, of Gridley, Brooke Delorme, 19, of Chico and a 16-year-old juvenile from Paradise.

Police responded to reports of a fight outside the mall's entrance on Monday January 19, but when they arrived none of the suspects were in the area.

Police were able to obtain a dashcam video from the person who reported the fight and the gang unit determined the incident was a knife fight between rival gang members. The three suspects in custody were seen fleeing the scene in a white Mazda sedan, but police say they are still searching for a group of suspects who fled the scene in a Ford SUV.

Martinez, Delorme and the juvenile have all been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and a gang enhancement.
