Tehama County Sheriffs were serving an arrest warrant for a woman at a residence in Red Bluff today when they discovered 27 dogs the woman had been hoarding inside the residence. The woman is still at large, and officials at the scene indicated she may have even left the state. Officials also stated they believe this is the first time the dogs have been let outside the house. Deputies were serving a warrant for previous animal cruelty charges. The dogs are currently being cleaned and cared for at the Tehama County Animal Shelter.
