TRUCKEE, Calif. (AP) - Police in Northern California say rescue crews have resumed their search for two men who went missing after their canoe capsized in Donner Lake.
Truckee police say they received reports of the incident Friday afternoon and began a search with boats, divers and a helicopter. Authorities called off the search Friday night due to weather and darkness.
Sacramento television station KCRA reports Saturday divers, underwater cameras and sonar are also being used in the search.
Police say crews searched the northeast corner of the lake, which is challenging because of the depth, cold water and underwater terrain.
They say the two friends were visiting the area and staying at a cabin.
