Two men were killed in a rollover crash early Sunday morning in Corning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, 28-year-old Robert Underwood III, of Gerber, was driving his Dodge sedan southbound on Rawson Road near Gyle Road at a high rate of speed when he lost control, hit a guardrail and then flipped several times.

Underwood and his passenger, 23-year-old Brian Alvares, of Flournoy were not wearing seatbelts and were thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say alcohol was likely a factor in the crash.

Underwood and Alvares worked at Sierra Pacific Industries in Richfield, the company posted a picture of the men on their Facebook page that read "Bobby and Bryan were so nice to dress in pink last month in support of all our teammates fighting cancer. Unfortunately we lost both of them yesterday to a car accident. You will both be very missed at SPI Richfield."
