INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Inglewood police say two officers have been wounded in a confrontation with a gunman in the Los Angeles suburb.

Details are sketchy but police Cadet Jackie Sipaque says a SWAT team was called Wednesday afternoon to a home where the gunman is believed to be holed up.

She says two officers were wounded somehow but it's not immediately clear whether the gunman shot them. She's says they're being checked out at a hospital and are in stable condition.
