The Butte County Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Unit served a search warrant in Berry Creek, where they found a marijuana grow and arrested two people.

The warrant was served last week in the 100 block of Leandra Way, where deputies found an indoor marijuana grow next to a mobile home.

In all, 664 marijuana plants were found, along with a firearm and $30,000 cash.

German Gonzalez, 49, of Mexico and 33-year-old Mauel Bedoya, of Katy, Texas were taken into custody.

The sheriff’s office says four children found on the property have been placed into the custody of Child Protective Services.
