Dozens took part in the 10th Annual Moonlight Safety Walk, all in an effort to make the Chico State campus a safer place.

Improvements including more lighting around campus have materialized thanks to a decade of walks like these.

University President Paul Zingg, along with University Police and Students started this annual event as a way to take a proactive approach to campus safety.

Whether it's lighting, addressing over grown shrubs or testing the emergency blue phones, all safety concerns are addressed at the Moonlight Walk.

Findings go to the public safety committee. From there, any safety issues that arise get addressed.
