10 indicted for their involvement in drug operation in Northern California

10 people have now been indicted for their role in the North State's big drug trafficking operation which involved Mexican drug cartels.

The men from Oroville, Yuba City, Sacramento and Modesto are facing charges of conspiracy to distribute meth and cocaine. According to the indictment, the drugs were distributed in Butte, Sutter, Stanislaus, and Sacramento counties.

Narcotics task forces across the North State worked with CHP and Drug enforcement administration to take down the operation.

If a federal jury finds these men guilty, they can face life in prison, as well as a $10 million fine.
