Authorities in Tehama County arrested 10 people Tuesday during a welfare fraud sweep.
Tuesday's operation is the result of several criminal investigations conducted over the past few months by the Tehama County District Attorney's Bureau of Investigation.
Nine of the ten people arrested Tuesday were charged with perjury and fraud to obtain aid, both felonies, while another person, Robert Ramsey, of Red Bluff was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
The nine arrested for fraud were, Melissa Eileen Drewry, 36, of Corning; Dawn Michelle Willet, 41, of Red Bluff; Maria Guadalupe Rodrigues, 42, of Red Bluff; Jessica Leann Rodrigues, 33, of Corning; Daniela Marie Tores, 30, of Red Bluff; Evette Marie Arellano, 45, of Corning; Sondra Kay Lafrentz, 53, of Red Bluff; Alicia Cisneros, 32, of Corning; and Misty Dawn Didio, 41, of Red Bluff.
