Two Children Drown in Oroville in Two Days

A family aquaintance contacted Action News Now to report the child who drowned in a pool in the Kelly Ridge Area Thursday night is still on life support at U.C. Davis, and has not died ... as previously reported.
Two young children have drowned in the Oroville area in two days.
The most recent tragedy happened just after 9:00 P.M. Thursday, at a home on Apica Avenue, in the Kelly Ridge area.
We don't have many details, but Action News has confirmed a toddler was left unattended in their high chair ... before being found floating in a pool.
Wednesday afternoon, 3 year old Brodie Guess drowned while on a family outing at a popular swimming spot in the Oroville Wildlife Area.
Authorities say he was not wearing a flotation device.
CPR was administered and the child was life-flighted to Oroville Medical Center and then U.C. Davis Medical Center before he died.
A third drowning in the Oroville area happened on Monday, when 25 year old David Kircher was found unresponsive in a backyard pool in Thermalito.
