Two young children have drowned in the Oroville area in two days.
The most recent tragedy happened just after 9:00 P.M. Thursday, at a home on Apica Avenue, in the Kelly Ridge area.
We don't have many details, but Action News has confirmed a toddler was left unattended in their high chair ... before being found floating in a pool.
Wednesday afternoon, 3 year old Brodie Guess drowned while on a family outing at a popular swimming spot in the Oroville Wildlife Area.
Authorities say he was not wearing a flotation device.
CPR was administered and the child was life-flighted to Oroville Medical Center and then U.C. Davis Medical Center before he died.
A third drowning in the Oroville area happened on Monday, when 25 year old David Kircher was found unresponsive in a backyard pool in Thermalito.
