Man Arrested After Threatening Officer and Officer's Family

One Chico police officer can relax now that one man is behind bars after threatening to kill him and his family. It happened around 1am Tuesday morning when police responded to a shoplifting incident at the Main Street 7 Eleven. The shoplifting suspect was found in the City Plaza along with Robert Gray. Gray showed signs of intoxication and was arrested for violating the terms of his release under Post Release Community Supervision. After being arrested Gray made numerous threats to stab the officer. Gray continued to threaten the officer and then directed his threats towards the officers family. Gray was booked into Butte County Jail.
