Butte County Sheriff's Officials say they're pleased with the progress they've made investigating what may be a triple homicide.
Lt. Al Smith told Action News Monday that they have an idea of who the victims are, but are waiting for autopsy results to confirm it.
Autopsies are planned this week on the bodies, which were found in a stolen car out of Sacramento after it went up in flames on Hupp Coutelenc Road ... Shortly after midnight June 13th.
Smith says it's a "very dynamic" investigation and that detectives have been working around the clock to solve it.
He would not elaborate further but says he hopes to release more information later in the week.###
