Butte County Sheriff's deputies arrested two men in connection with a drug operation in Durham Wednesday morning. Over the past few weeks, deputies have been investigating large volumes of methamphetamine coming out of the town and identified the suspect as 48 year-old Stoney King. Early this morning, deputies made a traffic stop along the Midway near Oro Chico Highway. The driver, Ricky Relf of Chico, was found in possession of a little less than a gram of meth and was arrested. His passenger, Stoney King, was also taken into custody. Deputies searched King's home and found more than half a pound of meth, 78 hydrocodone pills, along with scales and packaging materials.
