(UPDATE) 7:17 p.m.-We have more information from our reporter on the scene of a traffic collision near the intersection of Larkin and E. Gridley Roads first reported just after 5:30 p.m. this evening.

According to CHP officers at the scene, a man was driving north on Larkin road with two other females in a 1974 Lincoln Continental when his vehicle swerved and smashed into a red GMC truck, pushing it off the road. The Lincoln then reportedly continued through the intersection of Larkin and E. Gridley Roads where it crashed into a white Mercedes SUV waiting to turn west onto E. Gridley Road. A total of three vehicles were involved in the incident.

No major injuries were reported among the involved parties and no one had to be airlifted, according to CHP. All three passengers of the Lincoln Continental were transported to the hospital via ambulance. The diver of the continental was not identified, but responding CHP officers “strongly suspect” all three of the vehicle’s occupants were under the influence of alcohol.

The roadway was not closed but some debris may remain.
