The Pleasant Valley boys soccer team saw its state-record 98-game unbeaten streak snapped at the hands of rival Chico as the Panthers defeated the Vikings 1-0 at Asgard Yard.

The difference was a goal from Juan Tejeda after a brilliant pass from Jiovanni Casillas.

PV had not tasted defeat since 2013.
