REDDING, Calif. - Redding Police say they arrested two people who tried to burglarize the Christian Life Center.

Police say a Pastor at the church on Browning Drive was inside when he heard two people trying to break in at around 2:03 a.m. Wednesday. The window on the north side of the business was broken.

Two officers arrived and say they found Billie Joe Graygarrigus, 29, and his girlfriend, Alicia Baker, 28, both of Redding.

Police say Baker had a misdemeanor warrant for her arrest and was in possession of burglary tools and drug paraphernalia.

Officers say Baker also had injuries consistent with being cut by glass from the broken window.

Police say Baker provided several inconsistent statements and admitted to being a drug user. Graygarrigus was also in possession of drug paraphernalia and is an admitted drug user.

Both Baker and Graygarrius were booked into Shasta County Jail for attempted burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Additionally, Baker was booked for her warrant and possession of burglary tools.
