Carr Fire: Current Evacuation Orders and Repopulation

Map and list of current evacuation order and warning zones, as well as evacuation centers. The most recent evacuation orders are in red.

As the Carr Fire rages through Shasta County, here is a list of places and a comprehensive map of current evacuations due to the fire.

Bear in mind, this is a fast-moving fire and this list can grow and shrink very quickly. If you are in, or near, an evacuation area, please be ready to leave and be safe. 


Repopulation:

Residents may return home in the Lewiston Community North of SR-299 to Kinny Camp Road at Keno Camp Road, West of County Line Road to Trinity Dam Blvd and all areas and supur roads within. SR-299 will be open to residents only from Sandhouse to Buckhorn Summit.

Re-entry to Victoria Drive and Victoria Highland Subdivision **Residents Only* Residents entering this area will be required to provide documentation to verify residency.

All residents accessible from SR-299 East of Trinity Dam Blvd to the Sandhouse on both the North and South side of Hwy 299. East of Hwy 3 to Trinity Dam Blvd, North of Raspberry Lane to Tannery Gulch Road and all areas with in this location.

Residents in the town of French Gulch excluding Tom Green Mine Road, closed West of French Gulch and Highland Ridge Road. Whiskey Creek Road is open to residents only. All Whiskeytown Park and all access roads into Whiskeytown Park are closed until further notice. **Residents Only**

Re-entry for residents in the town of French Gulch excluding residents on Tom Green Mine Road, East Fork Road and Highland Ridge Road, Cline Gulch Road East of French Gulch. For French Gulch residents returning to their homes from Redding, the access will be via SR 299. A road closure will be Hwy 299 at JFK Memorial Drive. Residents will only be permitted past this closure. For French Gulch residents returning home from Trinity County the access will be via SR 299. A road closure will be at Trinity Dam Blvd. Residents will only be permitted past this closure. Residents entering this area will be required to provide documentation of residency.

Evacuations orders have been lifted for the Community of Ono, including Platina Road west to SR-36. Rainbow Lake Road will remain closed at Platina Road. All subsidiary streets and roads off Rainbow Lake Road will remain under mandatory evacuation. Bully Choop Road and Old Bully Choop Road will be closed at Platina Road. South Fork Road will be closed to westbound just west of Paradise Lane.

Re-entry to Muletown Road within the town of Old Shasta. *Residents Only*

Muletown Road South of Red Bluff Road within the town of Old Shasta will be open to Residents only. A road closure will be at the intersection of Muletown Road and Red Bluff Road. Residents entering this area will be required to provide documentation to verify residency.

Lewiston area west of Clark Creek Road to Poker Bar Road. North of Hwy 299 to Hatchery Road to include Dead Mule Gulch Road, Twin Oaks Road, Carr Pl, Bear Creek Trail, Gibson Road, Henrietta Road, Riley Mine Road and Fish Hatchery Road.

Lewiston area West of Trinity Dam Boulevard to Poker Bar Road. North of Hwy 299 to Fallen Bridge Road to include Trinity Dam Boulevard, Mountain View Drive, Texas Street, Old Lewiston Road, Lewiston Turn Pike, Deadwood Road, Fawn Lodge Road, Wellock Road, Browns Mountain Road, Union Ridge Road and all other roads within the Lewiston Area.

**Lewiston Turn Pike East of Trinity Dam Blvd and Deadwood Road East of Trinity Dam Blvd. will remain under mandatory evacuation. **

Repopulation into the Community of Igo. A road closure will be in place at Placer Road and South Fork Road. No access will be permitted from this closure point onto South Fork Road or Zogg Mine Road. A road closure will be in effect at Placer Road and Platina Road and no access westbound on Platina Road will be permitted. All of Placer road will be open into the Community of Igo.

All Residents on the West and East sides of Swasey Drive from Lower Springs Road to Hwy 299. **Residents Only**

Re-entry to all residents on the West and East sides of Swasey Drive from Lower Springs Road to Hwy 299. Access to this area will be via Placer Road to Swasey Drive. Red Bluff road will remain closed at Swasey Drive. Residents entering this area will be required to provide documentation of residency. Some residences may be without power and/or other utilities.

Shasta County:

All residents in Old Shasta on the North and South Side of SR-299
**Muletown Road is not included and will remain closed at Red Bluff Road**

Re-entry to Old Shasta Community on the South and North side of SR-299. Entry access will be via SR-299 at Buenaventura Blvd and Rock Creek Road at Granite Road. Residents entering this area will be required to provide documentation to verify residency. Road Closures will be in effect at Swasey Drive at Red Bluff Road, Victoria Drive at SR-299 and SR-299 aat JFK Memorial Drive.

Iron Mountain Road and Rock Creek Road area

Land Park Subdivision and Stanford Hills Subdivision

Lower Springs Road and Foxwood Estates

Keswick Dam Blvd and Quartz Hill Road to include Keswick Estates

Lake Redding Estates Subdivision **Residents Only**

Re-entry to Lake Redding Estates Subdivision will be for residents only. Access into the area for residents of the Lake Redding Estates Subdivision will be from Quartz Hill Road. Residents can enter at Harlan Drive, Snow Lane or Elk Drive.

Detours related to the Quartz Hill Road construction are still in effect.

There will be no access to the Redding Elks Lodge.

Some residents may only have limited access to their properties due to safety concerns.

Bel Air Estates Subdivision and Standford Manor Subdivisions

Re-entry to Bel Air Estates and Standford Manor Subdivisions will be for residents only. Residents can return to their homes on Fantenell Drive, Fantenell Court, Savona Court, Bellagio Terrace, Redondo Court, Acanto Place, Stanford Drive, Standford Place, Treasure Isle Court and Showboat Court. Additionally residents with an address BETWEEN 1007 River Ridge Drive and 1211 River Ridge Drive will be allowed to return to their homes.

The River Ridge Subdivision north of Showboat Court will remain under a mandatory evacuation. No vehicle or pedestrian traffic will be allowed to access properties north of Showboat Court.

Access into the area for residents of the Bel Air and Standford Manor Subdivisions will be from Quartz Hill Road to Stone Canyon Drive. Detours related to the Quartz Hill Road to Stone Canyon Drive. Detours related to the Quartz Hill Road construction are still in effect. Access to Quartz Hill Road must be made through the River Park Subdivision from Benton Drive to River Park Drive.

Some residents living at the west end of Standford Drive and Showboat Court may only have limited access to their properties due to safety concerns.

Placer Road to Diggins Road **Residents Only**

Re-entry of Placer Road West of Swasey Drive to the intersection of Diggins Road. This will include all roadways on the North and South side of Placer Road for residents only. Residents entering this area will be required to produce documentation to verify residency. Residents will only be able to access this road via Placer Road westbound from Buenaventura Blvd, Texas Springs Road at Placer Road, Montgomery Ranch Road at Placer Road. Placer Road remains closed West of Diggins Road.

Sunset West and Sunset Terrace Subdivisions

Sunset West Subdivision **Residents Only**

Sunset Terrace Subdivision **Residents Only**

Re-entry to Sunset West Subdivision will be for residents only. Access into the area for residents of the Sunset West Subdivision will be from Eureka Way to Buenaventura Blvd.

Some residents living at the west end of Leisha Lane, the west end of Sunlight Court, Sunkist Court and Sunflower Drive between Mario Ave and Sunflower Lane may only have limited access to their properties due to safety concerns.

Re-entry to the Sunset Terrace Subdivision will be for residents only. Access into the area for residents of the Sunset Terrace will be from Eureka Way to Sunset Drive. Residents living on Altura Ave., Wood Lane and Tera Lane must access their homes via Redbud Drive as the intersections of Royals Oaks Drive will be blocked.

Some residents living on Redbud Lane, Northridge Drive, Peri Court and Scenic Drive may only have limited access to their properties due to safety concerns.

Placer Road just west of Plateau Circle *RESIDENTS ONLY*

Re-entry of Placer Road West from Boston Ave to the intersection of Swasey Drive. This will include all roadways on the North & South side of Placer Rd for residents only. This will include Dillard Road and Skywalker Drive. Residents entering this area will be required to produce documentation to verify residency. Residents will only be able to access this area via Placer Rd westbound from Buenaventura. Placer Road remains closed West of Swasey Drive. All Swasey Drive remains closed.

Placer Road & Boston Ave. *Residents Only*
Placer Road at Swasey Drive.

Reentry to Mary Lake Subdivision will be for residents only. Access into the area for residents of the Mary Lake Subdivision will be from Buenaventura Blvd. to Lakeside Dr. or from Placer Rd. to Mary Lake Dr.

Happy Valley area

There will be no access to Placer Road west of Boston Ave and to Eureka Way/SR-299 west of Ridge Drive.
The evacuation order remains for homes accessed via Dillard Lane and homes accessed via Record Lane west of Nantucket Drive.

Evacuation orders have been lifted in the Montgomery Ranch area. This will include Texas Springs Road, Montgomery Ranch Road, Camino Del Encina Drive and all other roadways within this area. Road closures will be in place at Texas Springs Road at Placer Road and Montgomery Ranch Road at Placer Road. There will be no access to Placer Road.

Evacuation orders have been lifted and residents may return home in the following areas

The communities of Summit City and Buckeye to include the following areas listed below

Lake Blvd north of Oasis Road to the Shasta Dam

Pine Grove Ave. west from Iron Horse Road to Lake Blvd.

Walker Mine Road to the overhead powerlines. All residences on Walker Mine Road west of the overhead powerlines remain under mandatory evacuations.

Quartz Hill road from Lake Blvd. just west of Counter Lane will be open. A closure will be in effect at Quartz Hill Road west of Counter Lane. All residences west of this closure point will remain under mandatory evacuations.

Evacuation orders have been lifted and residents may return home in the following areas

River Park Highlands Subdivision

For residents returning home to River Park Highland Subdivision, use Benton Drive to access River Park Drive.

Evacuations orders have been lifted and residents may return home in the following areas

City of Shasta Lake with exception of Summit City.

Oasis Road west of Interstate 5 to Lake Blvd.

Pine Grove at Iron Horse Road will remain closed and all areas west of this closure in the Summit City proper will remain under mandatory evacuation.

SR-151 (Shasta Dam Blvd) at Sacramento Street will remain closed and all areas west of this closure in Summit City proper will remain under mandatory evacuation.

Oasis Road at Lake Blvd will remain closed and all areas on both sides of Lake Blvd north of this closure will remain under mandatory evacuation.

Eureka Way to Buenaventura Blvd

Buenaventura Blvd from Hwy 299 (Eureka Way) to Hwy 273

Teton Road including the White Hawk Subdivision

Canyon Creek Drive including the Country Heights Subdivision

All surface streets off Westside Road including El Reno Lane, Kenyon Drive, Branstetter Lane and Cedars Road

Branstetter Lane to Texas Spring Road encompassing roads on Branstetter Lane

Hwy 273 at Westwood Drive including The Westwood Subdivision

Clear Creek Road from Hwy 273 to Honey Bee Road

Trinity County

Douglas City and communities along SR-299 East to Poker Bar Road.

Poker Bar Road northwest to Union Hill Rd.

Mandatory evacuations (August 15):

All remaining evacuation orders related to the Carr Fire have been lifted. Per closure order CA-360-18-03 and 14-18-12 the public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management and the United States Forest Service will remain closed to the public until further review of potential hazards can be determined and mitigated.
