Humboldt County Sheriff Seeks Church Burglary Suspect

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in identifying a church burglary suspect seen on surveillance video wrapped in what appears to be a blanket.

EUREKA, Calif. - The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in identifying a church burglary suspect seen on surveillance video wrapped in what appears to be a blanket.

According to HCSO, on April 16 the suspect failed to break into the Cutten Community Church on Campton Road in Eureka.

But he was able to break into three children’s learning facilities, breaking a doorknob and windows, said HCSO.

While inside the suspect allegedly rummaged through the rooms, left the two heaters on and stole several items including – an iPad and cash.

Authorities released the picture on Friday and hope the unclear picture will help the public recognize the suspect if so you are asked to call HCSO at (707)-445-7251.
