Caltrans crews are responding to possible rocks on the road on SR 89 between Chester and Canyon Dam.  The Bridge Crew is inspecting structures which is routine after such an incident. They have no reports of slides or damage to the state facilities at this time.   So far, there have been no reports of injuries.   The earthquake struck Plumas County with a preliminary magnitude of 5.7. Update: As of 5:30 a.m. this morning, there have been 44 aftershocks in the area ranging from 2.6-to-4.9-magnitude.
