A pilot working for Jones Flying Service has been injured in a crop duster accident.  Just after 6:30 Wednesday evening, investigators say the pilot crashed into a flooded rice field between County Road Z, and County Road ZZ, north of Highway 162.  Enloe's FlightCare was called in to take the pilot, Ricky Laughlin, to the hospital.  Firefighters had to wade out to the downed plane to reach the injured man.  The plane nose-dived into the water, but it's not clear what caused the crash. Laughlin told Action News from his hospital bed that he was "grumpy," but grateful that he walked away from the crash.
