Redding firefighters battled a fire this afternoon that engulfed a shed before spreading to an adjacent house.
The fire was reported at around 1:15 on Henderson Drive, a small street off of Hartnell.
By the time firefighters arrived, the flames had spread to the home.
"Crews were able to enter that structure, suppress the fire in the attic and the wall, maintaining most of the contents inside. It looks like most of them are quite salvageable. The shed, however, where the fire originated, looks to be totally consumed," said Battalion Chief Steve Reilly.
There were no injuries reported.
