Shasta County Youth Prepare for Upcoming Performances of “Cinderella”

The South Shasta County Youth Arts and South Shasta County Children’s Chorus (SSCCC) have been rehearsing diligently for their upcoming productions of G2K Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella”. The young stars plan on performing four shows November 7 through November 9.

The performances will be held at the Anderson Union High School Performing Arts Center located at 1471 Ferry St. in Anderson. The magical performances will begin 7 p.m. nightly with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, November 9. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for those 10 and under or 60 and over. 

The SSCCC cast contains over 50 actors in grades second through twelfth. This heart-warming stage adaptation is directed by Nancy Dutton with the assistance from Co-Director Amy Hughes and Choreographer Roni Grandell.

Seating is reserved and no refunds or exchanges will be accepted. Tickets can be purchased online at www.sscya.org or at the Box Office Monday through Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased one hour before each show.  For more information, email info@sscya.org or call (530) 487-0777.
