More than 300 kids participated in the 23rd annual Special Olympics at Red Bluff High School Tuesday morning. Students from 39 different schools from around Tehama and Glenn counties spent several weeks training for the event. Local organizations and public safety agencies set up booths in the Olympic Village area and hosted extra activities for the athletes and their families. Events ranged from relay races, to shot put and long jump. Around 550 volunteers helped organize the annual games.
