Live Oak unified school district lockdown lifted

The Live Oak Unified school district was under lockdown starting at 8:45 a.m. until approximately 9:10 a.m. because of a suspicious person in the area of L Street and Elm Street.

The school district said they received a call from the Sutter County Sheriff’s office around 8:45 a.m. and went into lockdown for precautionary reasons. The district received another call from the sheriff’s office at 9:10 a.m. saying the suspicious person had been arrested.
