A pool of at least 140 prospective jurors has been called in Redding for the high profile trial of accused killer Mark Duenas.
Jury selection starts Tuesday.
Duenas is accused of killing his wife Karen, a mother of five and educator at Shasta College.
She was found stabbed to death in her bedroom last May, but her husband wasn't arrested for the crime until five months later ... when it was revealed he had a secret relationship with another woman.
Family members insist he's innocent .
Despite extensive publicity, including national media attention, the defense did not seek a change of venue.
The trial is expected to run six weeks, Duenas faces life in prison if he is convicted of first degree murder.
