Shasta County Sheriff's Officials have confirmed that the two men found dead inside burning buildings in Ingot last week were murdered.
Today they named the victims as 57 year old Michael Cass Forsyth and 65 year old Thomas James Burton, both of Ingot.
Investigators say autopsies determined that both men had been shot to death.
Their bodies were discovered during suspicious fires in two buildings at "Ingot Auto Dismantlers" on Highway 299 last Friday, October 25th.
The deaths are being investigated by the Shasta County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit, as well as Cal Fire Investigators.
Detectives would not say what business the victims had at Ingot Auto Dismantlers, and they want to hear from any customers who were there that day.
They told Action News Now that the owner was out of state and is not a suspect. ###
