The 11th Annual Hmong Culture Festival took place in Chico Saturday.
An estimated 2,500 people celebrated the event at March Junior High.
On display were traditional Hmong arts, crafts, clothing and foods.
Organizers say this event was created to help celebrate diversity in the North State.
“It’s special for Butte County because we live in this county and we need to enrich the city of Chico,” Michael Lo said. “Chico is a diverse city where everybody can come and welcome them.”
