A local art gallery is displaying work that is usually found on the streets and on train tracks.
The Chico Art Center is presenting an exhibition called “Art All Aboard.” This show celebrates the gallery’s location next to a historic train station.
On display are many different genres of art representing trains and train tracks; but the feature piece is a huge graffiti mural.
“It kind of started as a street form of tagging art form but it has slowly moved into a fine art form and slowly moved into gallery space,” Chico Art Center director Darah Votaw.
"Art All Aboard" will be on display until October 4.
