Authorities are investigating the crash of an experimental RV6A aircraft which crashed in the outskirts of Williams last night. The pilot, who was the only passenger on board, was killed.
Colusa County Sheriffs stated today the crash was reported just after 7 p.m. last night approximately three quarters of a mile west of Walnut Drive in the outskirts of Williams. The Department confirmed the pilot was the only one on board and are still working on identifying the victim.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTBS) are investigating why the plane crashed.
