Cal Fire investigators and Shasta County deputies were on the scene of a deadly fire Friday night and they are calling it a crime scene.
The fire was reported at 5:45 p.m. on Highway 299 in Ingot, about 30 miles east of Redding.
Authorities have released few details but we have confirmed at least one person was found dead in one of two structures that burned. We do not know how that person died but again, it's being called a crime scene. Sheriff's officials are not saying why. We are working to get more information and will post the latest details as they become available.
