BAYONNE, N.J. (AP) - A cruise ship that cut short its voyage because hundreds of passengers and crew members became ill is due back this afternoon at the New Jersey port where it began its planned 10-day excursion last week.

More than 600 passengers and crew on Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas fell ill with vomiting and diarrhea.

The ship's medical team says the problem appears to be norovirus.
