A Paradise boy is recovering from lacerations on his knee this morning after Paradise Police say he rode his bike into a car on the Skyway, just a mile north of where 13-year-old Skyler Milner was hit and killed by a car while crossing the street on May 31.

Paradise Police say the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. roughly quarter mile south of Bille Road at 6930 Skyway. The driver of the vehicle was reportedly easing out of the Wells Fargo about to turn right on the Skyway when a 12-year-old male was riding his bike in the opposite direction on the sidewalk. The boy crashed into the front of the vehicle, and was taken to Enloe Hospital for his injuries, none of which were life threatening. Paradise Police initially indicated the male juvenile is at fault for the accident, but they are still investigating the incident.
