The Anderson Rotary Club will host a south Shasta County benefit barbecue at Anderson New Technology High School for victims of this week’s Clover Fire. The benefit is scheduled for Sunday, September 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
For just a $10 donation, the Rotary Club will provide a tri-tip or barbecue chicken luncheon and beverage. The barbecue will be located on the school’s parking lot on North Street in Anderson. Meals can be ordered to go. The club indicated there are a limited number of tables and chairs will be available for those who wish to eat on site.
To help make the fundraiser successful, the Rotary Club is also looking for donations of salad mix, soft drinks and eating utensils. You can contact Baron Browning if you or your business wishes to help at 776-4964.
Cash donations can also be made to the Clover Fire Relief Fund established at any U.S. Bank branch. Fire victims can register for assistance at the bank’s branch office located at 2750 Childress Drive, just north of Balls Ferry Road in south Anderson.
