Residents of a Chico apartment complex have been given the all clear to go home after what appeared to be a pipe bomb found in one of the units. The Butte County Bomb Squad blew up the device right around four-twenty and authorities now say it wasn't actually an explosive device. It was a six-inch galvanized pipe with capped ends so it looked just like a pipe bomb but it was filled with marijuana. It was found in a unit around one this afternoon by an apartment manager doing a walk through after the tenant was evicted. Not knowing what the device was he quickly called 911 and the complex was evacuated. After the device was destroyed people were let back into there homes. So far no arrests have been made.
