The Historic Patrick Ranch near Chico will open on Saturdays through the Fall starting March 1st. The kick-off event features a special program called "The Native American in Harmy with Nature". There will be presentations at 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. by Lola Gibson, feturing Indian made tools, baskets, cocoon rattles, dolls and more. And, the first time viewing of a sampling of Native American Artifacts excavated in 1965-66 on land nearby.
There will also be tours of the grand farm house, nature walks, and craft opportunities.
Admission is $5, with children five and under free.
The Patrick Ranch Museum and the Far West Heritage Association are a non profit organization.
