JOB DESCRIPTION:

KHSL and KNVN TV is accepting resumes and work samples for an open Chief Photographer to join our news team. Preference given to candidates with experience shooting 16x9 digital format, skilled in non-linear editing (we edit on Adobe Premier), and experience operating TVU packs. This position will serve our CBS, NBC, CW and Telemundo affiliates. A successful candidate will be a good storyteller that's getting better and willing to dig in and learn what's important to our viewership.

Our Chief Photographer/ Reporter is expected to shoot and edit video, operating ENG microwave live truck, and report news content on all station digital platforms. This position is also expected to develop strong contacts, enterprise stories on their own and stay ahead of the competition.

A minimum of two years experience working in broadcast television is preferred.

EDUCATION:
College degree (in Journalism or related field preferred)
